Terms and Conditions

On your first lesson, you will need to bring : 1. Your signed Provisional Driving Licence 2. Glasses if you need them for driving (I will check your eyesight ) Practical Test On the day of your test a 2 hour lesson must be booked. I reserve the right to refuse the use of my car for the practical test if I deem the candidate not fit or ready to take the test. PAYMENTS Payments need to be made at the beginning of the lesson, and can either be CASH, CHEQUE or Bank Transfers Payments for block bookings need to be made prior to the first lesson of the block. Refunds will only be given as per the cancellation policy. Driver Fitness & Use of the Car If upon arrival for a lesson, I deem that you are unfit to undertake the lesson due, for example, to the effects of medication,drugs or alcohol then the lesson will NOT continue, however you, the pupil, will be liable for the full cost of the lesson which has been booked In the interests of safety, I reserve the right to withhold the use of my car for the driving test if I consider you are not ready to take the test, Cancellation All lessons are booked with the full intention of them being delivered, however, in the unlikely event that it becomes necessary for me to cancel a lesson i will do my best to give you as much notice as possible and I will always seek to offer you an alternative time or date that is suitable for you. Should this not be possible then if the lesson is prepaid i will refund you in full,if you should need to cancel or change date or time of a lesson , Elaine School Of Motoring requires a minimum of 48 hours notice so i can re book time,. Should you be unable to keep to your booked appointment and give less then 48 hours notice, then your lesson fee will still be due for payment and it will NOT be refunded if has been prepaid, Refunds Refunds will be given as follows : The number of lessons taken out of a block booking will be calculated at the standard per hour rate,This total will be subtracted from the initial payment made for the block and any balance minus a £20 admin fee given to the payer. No refund will be given if the cancellation policy has not been adhered to at any point during the course of lessons
